Red Hill is a mature, challenging, classically designed course where its members and their guests enjoy golf as envisioned by legendary golf course architect Gorge C. Thomas, Jr. His 1921 design combines the beauty of the area with strategic challenges for the players of every skill level. Not long by modern golf’s standards at nearly 6,600 yards, its tree lined undulating fairways coupled with small fast paced green reward well struck shots and putts. It is a course that has produced many excellent players, including Dr. Frank M. “Bud” Taylor winner of two consecutive California State Amateur Championships, Runner-up in the USGA National Amateur, and a three time member of the United States Walker Cup team. Golf at Red Hill is always challenging, never routine, and always memorable.
